Dakota's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Dakota's Story...
Dakota is a two year neutered/current vet HW negative Siberian Husky boy who loves to play and loves to be with his human, he is a big ole Teddy Bear. Dakota loves to lay his head in your lap so you can rub it.... He can escape chain link so he is house trained and working on his house manners. This boy will do well with another easy going dog to play with. He likes to be the boss, and thinks the toys are his so he will do better in a home without an Alpha male. Dakota will also chase cats that hiss and run, but does well with those who are calm. A home visit will be required upon Adoption Application approval.

Please call or text Val at 903-563-1226 for more information or to schedule a meet & greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Longview Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Longview, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Longview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Longview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Longview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Longview paves the way for another one to be saved.
