Sheba's Story...
Hi, my name is Sheba and aren't I beautiful? I can't take a bad picture; I want to be a movie star when I grow up. I, along with my siblings, Prince, Maggie, and Dusty were all rescued from a busy parking garage of a large office building. We were found running around the parking lot looking for food. Lucky for us, a kind person scooped us up and brought us to a nice place where there is ample food and we can play, play, play.

I am a little girl kitty with medium hair multicolor fur. I am a Maine Coon mix kitty. My fur is nice and soft. My colors are starting to show more as I get older.

I am ever so sweet and love to play and play for hours on end. I also enjoy sleeping and eating and eating and eating.

I would love to find my forever home. I will be ready to join your family in a few weeks and I will have my distemper shot and I will be fixed before you adopt me. If interested, please call Janet at 561-212-5092. I will be sitting by the phone waiting for your call.

Many meows and please check out the rest of my family..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Jacksonville Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
