My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miller is a 4 year old male black tricolor Australian Shepherd available for adoption in Carrollton, Georgia.

Overall, he’s an amazing dog. Miller is polite, submissive, low key, quiet, house broken, and gets along great with other dogs and cats. Most of all, he loves being with his people. ESPECIALLY if they’ve got a brush in their hand. Velcro alert!

Miller is afraid of children, and would prefer a home without them.

Miller is smart and sensitive with excellent recall. He rides perfectly in the car and does well off leash, for the most part staying right by your side. If he starts to wander off, don’t worry! He’ll wiggle right back to you.

At 66lbs, Miller’s been working on his figure with a little help from his foster parents. Despite being overweight right now, we fully expect him to remain on the lower end of the energy scale after trimming down. If you’re looking for an exercise buddy or playmate to match your high energy dog, Miller’s not going to be a good fit. If you’re new to this breed or have a soft spot for Aussies who make those adorable little grunting noises when they’re happy… you may have just found your dog!
