Hemi's Story...
Hemi is a Shepherd/Lab mix and is between one and a half to two years old. He is neutered, up-to-date on all shots and is heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Hemi came to a local shelter infested with fleas and suffering from flea dermatitis. He was removed from the shelter by a volunteer and has been boarded at a private facility to save him from euthanasia. He is fully vetted and has done well while in boarding. He has learned the sit command and walks well on a leash/harness. He does well with other dogs and kids and misses his kennel mate who is currently in the SAFE training program. Hemi is playful, loves water and loves to play with the water hose. He loves to ride in jeeps and trucks. Hemi is looking for a home where he can play and be an active boy and possibly a wondeful companion for another dog. Hemi's adoption fee is sponsored. Contact phone number is 270-619-0741.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hemi, a Princeton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Princeton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Princeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Princeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Princeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Princeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
