Pheobe's Story...
Phoeobe was pulled from a high kill shelter the day she was suppose to be put down. She was thought to maybe pregnant but after a vet visit she was found to not be. She was then spayed.

She get along with other dogs and hasn't really paid the cat any attention. She is laid back but she is still coming out of her shell. She loves to follow her foster family everywhere they walk and just wants to be loved on. She wags her whole body when someone come through the door! She is a very sweet dog.

If you are looking for a small dog to complete your family? Pheobe is the perfect match for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pheobe, a Jackson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
