Melody is 3 month old female, West Highland Terrier/Terrier mix. She currently weighs 5 lbs and will be between 10-15 lbs full grown. Her coat is the wire type and she does not shed. Melody was one of the lucky pups rescued from the Kern County animal shelter.
Melody is a fun happy little puppy. She has a great attitude about life and is having a blast in her foster home. She likes to play with her toys and enjoys running around the yard with the breeze in her face. Melody is very interactive with her person and has great eye contact. She is very smart indeed. I often catch her sitting by my feet staring up at me as if to ask “What’s next on our agenda?”.
Melody gets along with other dogs both big and small and likes to invite everyone into her puppy play, although the older dogs try to ignore her. When she is done playing she will lay by your feet or by your side for some cuddle time. She likes to sit on your lap and enjoys adults, strangers and children alike. One of my favorite things about Melody is that she cuddles in real close and rests her head on your shoulder when you hold her.
Melody has a great start on her housebreaking and will be easy to move along in the right direction. She would fit into many different types of living situations and will make a fantastic best friend for some lucky person or family.
