MASIYH's Story...
Masiyh is a super sweet girl that knows sit and stay. She is a beautiful 1 year old, 48 pound, Chocolate Labrador Retriever. She has been at the shelter since she came in as a stray on August 2nd. Unfortunately the shelter is so full that Masiyh has been stuck in the overflow in the back. She is now up where the public can see her and she is ready to be adopted to a forever home! Look at that beautiful coloring and face! Masiyh is ready to go to the lake, hiking, the kids' soccer games, etc. She's going to make a great family dog. Masiyh is up to date on vaccines, and will be spayed, heartworm tested, and micro-chipped upon adoption. Masiyh is in cage 49 and her ID is 558287.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This beautiful pet and many others need a forever, loving home and are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.

Act quickly to adopt MASIYH. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MASIYH, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
