Scottie's Story...
Scottie is a "best friend" kind of a girl. At 2 years old and only 14 lbs, she is the perfect size to run errands with you and she rides very well in a car. She walks well on a leash, she is crate trained, and house trained. Scottie enjoys playing with squeaky toys and likes to carry one around most of the time. She gets along just fine with other animals but she would be perfectly content as an only dog; her main focus is YOU. :) Scottie gets along great with children and she is a very gentle, quiet girl. If you would like to learn more about her, please email info@FORrescue.net.

Scottie is spayed, micro chipped, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and current on flea, heartworm, and parasite preventative. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scottie, a Chattanooga Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
