Blue's Story...
Hi my name is Blue. I am a full bred Yellow Labrador Retriever who is 7 years old and looking for a forever home to live out the rest of my years. Please don't mistaken me for a couch potato because I'm not....I love to chase tennis balls for hours and hours! At the end of the day when the Staff or Volunteers are looking for all the tennis balls, I have them stashed under my bed in my kennel, so I can dream of chasing balls all night!
If you would like more information on Blue, please contact Kris Key at 919-343-8923 or 8924 or email at keydemoorefarm@gmail.com or Betsy Ficarro at 910-315-9569 or email adopt4leggeds@aol.com. Thank you for saving lives!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Pinehurst Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Pinehurst, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pinehurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pinehurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pinehurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pinehurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
