Zelda's Story...
Please contact Kirk for more information about this pet.

Hi, I'm Zelda, a Jack Russell Terrier mix.  Even though I'm 9-years-old, I'm adorable, full of energy, but also definitely a great lap dog. I'm OK around other dogs as long as they don't try to beat me up.  I'm friendly and I really like those little dog biscuit treats, so bring some if you want to win me over.  Hee, hee.  If you can give me a loving forever home, come down and meet me.  I promise you will not want to leave without me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a Gainesville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
