Dante is longing for a new boy to be his best friend, someone that will be there for the rest of his life, to play with, walk and run with and to sleep with. Dante is one of the most affectionate dachshunds you might ever have the pleasure to meet. His affection and love go beyond jumping with excitement or giving kisses. Dante actually squeals with delight whenever he greets someone he loves. Dante is house trained and very reliable if he is allowed outside every 3-5 hours. You will make his day if he gets to go for a walk or a car ride. He loves to play with his toys and it is as much fun to play with him as it is to just sit back and watch him play. As you can see from Dante’s pictures he is very cute. Dante is an Isabella & Tan dapple longhaired dachshund. His coat looks a bit odd, being a combination of a smooth and a longhaired coat. This just makes him not only cute, but unique. In truth, Dante is a victim of human inexperience with genetics and breeding. This does not affect his health just how he looks. He may not be drop-dead handsome, but his loyalty and devotion are beyond compare. He likes everyone he meets and is good with other dogs, he does prefer small dogs.
