Desmond's Story...
Desmond is approx 5 months old as of aug 20th 2013 and 10lbs, he will probably be between 12-15 lbs when fully grown, he looks like a cairn terrier mix, he has the cutest ears, one is up and one is down, he is such a good puppy, very quiet and well behaved, loves to run and play with his rescue puppy buddies, his house training is doing pretty well he runs outside with the other dogs but will still need some more help and will need some leash training, he has a very sweet personality and is just a good all around family dog

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desmond, a Norwalk Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
