Daisy's Story...
Daisy is a 2 year old Chihuahua/dachshund mix. She is very sweet and calm and would be a great lap dog. Daisy loves to be with humans and even dug under the fence because she does not like to be alone. She would be great in a home that is quiet without small children. Daisy tends to get scared of loud noises but with patience and in a loving home, we know she will be one happy little girl. She is all dressed up and waiting for YOU!

Upon adoption, Daisy will be spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $66.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Daisy at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are Mon-Fri 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm and Saturday 11:00 am - 4:30 pm. Make sure you ask for a PAAC volunteer when you go visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Corpus Christi Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
