Dottie's Story...
Dottie is a high-flying, fun-loving tabby who lives to entertain! Her specialties include wrestling, catching bugs, speed-climbing cat towers, sprinting through the living room, boxing, chasing after toy mice, following humans from room to room, and a variety of daredevil activities. During quieter times she enjoys helping you surf the web, reaching up to be held, and snuggling with you on the couch for a nap. Oh and she never stops purring – as soon as she hears a person talking, the motor revs up! Dottie tends to be a little more talkative than her sisters Jayda and JoJo (also up for adoption).

Dottie is at that perfect age of 4.5 months where her personality really shines through – she is an outgoing and friendly purrball looking to settle into a forever home offering lots of love and attention.

She lives with her siblings (also up for adoption: JoJo & Jayda) as well as other adult cats and a larger dog. She gets along great with all of them.

Dottie really needs to have companionship with either another cat / kitten or a dog. She would be too lonely being the only animal in a household because she's grown up with other pets to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Coppell Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
