Clyde's Story...
Clyde is a 1 year old Shepherd mix. Not real sure what the mix is but whatever it is, it makes for a very nice and calm and loveable dog. Clyde just wants to be by your side and wants you to play catch with him. He has one of those faces that makes you melt when you see those happy eyes and the tail that never stops wagging! Clyde is house trained and learning how to use a doggy door. He loves to go into his crate to sleep but in the morning, he is ready to go out and play with his foster friends. Clyde is one happy dog and will make any family there perfect pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Overland Park Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
