MURPHY's Story...
MURPHY is about 2.5 years old and a great example of the American Black Dog Breed....He is kind, obedient and wonderful in the house. He came from a situation where he didn't get to run much and when he came he was a bit shy and insecure, but i have watched him become balanced and joyful and he would now like to find an active human to share his life with. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks like a gentleman on a leash, LOVES to go running and walking in the woods and is one of those 'easy button' dogs. He comes like a shot when you call and sits for his treats. He is completely over his chewing stage and ready to be the place that you rest your hands at night.
He is a VERY grateful young man, reminding us all that gratitute is a virtue to embrace!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MURPHY, a McArthur Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
