This is Rusty. We think that he is a little wire haired Terrier mix male pup. He has a lovely
reddish blonde color to his fur. Little Rusty is about 6 months old and weighs about 9 lbs. This
little guy is the cutest thing. He loves to be held and he seems to do well with dogs that are his
size and slightly larger than he is. We are not sure how he does with large breed dogs and we are not sure how he does with cats. A meet and greet would tell us more with regards to how he would do with your pets.
Rusty LOVES to go for walks and is a pleasure to walk on a leash. He also rides well in the car
(we currently crate him when riding in the car). He is crate trained and is doing very well on his
house manners and people manners. He also likes to sit in your lap and be petted.
We rescued Rusty from a shelter in the central valley. He had been turned into the shelter with a
broken front leg. The shelter vet repaired the break and Rusty needed a place to go to rest and
give his leg a chance to heal. Our rescue stepped up to the plate and gave Rusty a spot in foster
care and the follow up medical treatment needed to ensure that his leg was healing properly. Rusty has finally gotten the Good to Go sign from our vet and he is now looking for a loving home. This is the cutest little guy; little Rusty is looking for a loving home.
