Miles (foster care)'s Story...
Miles is a happy, lovable puppy who is looking for his forever home! Miles, along with his sister Remi, was found as a stray and brought into the shelter. He is around 16 weeks old and currently being fostered through ACCT Philly. Miles is a spunky guy with a big personality. He loves to play and really enjoys going on hikes. Miles likes playing with his sister, but also loves romping with his foster dog siblings. He enjoys his quiet time, too, and will gladly crawl into your lap for some love and attention. Miles also knows how to swim and likes to go on adventures! Miles is already neutered, up-to-date on shots, and ready for his forever home! Miles is currently living with three dogs and a cat whom he gets along with. Miles is a quick learner and has learned how to use the doggie door in his foster home and are working on housebreaking and basic commands. He is currently being crate trained, and has no problem going into his crate at night for bed. Like all young dogs, Miles has typical puppy habits that he is working on, but he has already made considerable progress in the short time with his foster parents and will no doubt grow into an incredible companion with consistent training!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles (foster care), a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
