My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*******IMPORTANT****** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.

Meet Miley, a 5 year old owner surrender. Miley's owners lost their home and had to move...but apparently they forgot something...the two dogs in their backyard! Miley and her sister, a boxer had been living outside during hte day and closed into a hot garage at night...in JUNE, in Atlanta!!!!!!
Miley had a terrible skin infection complicated by sun burn on her back. She was also infested with fleas and had not been getting heartworm medication...fortunately, she is heartworm negative. Miley also was not spayed and thank goodness none of the neighborhood dogs has their way with her while she was outside in the Georgia heat.
Miley's skin has cleared, but there may be long term scarring. She is spayed and is now up to date on her shots. Recently, Miley developed a tail pocket infection that is being treated with daily care...there was concern that we might have to do a tail amputation, but things seem to be healing up nicely.
Miley gets along with other dogs and loves to play with her bulldog foster brother, King.
Miley is ready for adoption.
