Addie's Story...
Addie is a sweet 8 week old (8.4.13) pit bull pup that came to A Positive Promise with her 5 other siblings! Addie is an adorable little girl who is learning about the world around her. She is doing very well socializing with other dogs and cats. She will be working on crate training and potty training in her foster home. Addie will be ready for adoption in about 2 weeks time. She is spayed and currently up to date on shots, but will require a rabies shot at 12 weeks old. Puppies are adorable but they require lots of work, patience, training and dedication! We are looking for adopters that are understanding of the needs of a puppy as well as the lifetime commitment that adopting such a young pup is! If you are interested in Addie please email us at apositivepromise@gmail.com to begin the adoption process!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addie, a Hillsborough Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
