My story

Check out Javelin! This handsome boy has got a rather troubled past. We learned of Javelin when he was at the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia, PA and was known as "Brian". We were contacted by an employee requesting our help with him. He had been on the shelter for a while, he arrived as a neglected and emaciated stray. The shelter was not allowing him to be adopted out and needed a rescue to help save Javelin from an untimely death.

Javelin arrived at the shelter at only 25 lbs but came into our care about 50 lbs. He did well and recovered as far as he could while in the shelter. Due to space and the shelter refusing to adopt him out they slated him for euthanasia. Many other rescues had been contacted to no avail so with the help of a foster home we were able to give Javelin a chance.

Since entering into his foster home Javelin has been learning appropriate manners, house training, and learning what it is to be a family companion.
