My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Polly is really a great little gal. She is a 2-3 year old lab mix. She is a petite little bit at less than 40 lbs with a shiney black coat (she loves to be brushed) and white marks on her chest. She has beautiful soulful eyes and a pretty, thin snout.

Polly is good with her foster brothers. She played with foster bro Sonny (though she doesn't know what to do with balls or toys yet) and figured out to stay away from crabby old Sierra. She is housebroken and knows to do her business outside. She slept overnight on a dog bed and enjoyed a good cuddle with foster mom on the couch. She doesn't seem to have had any formal training but she picks things up really quickly. She is learning not to jump up on Foster mom and will sit for a yummy treat. She walks pretty nicely on a leash but got very excited when she saw some bunnies so a home with no kitties is probably best. She loves her food and is on the lean side. Foster Mom put her in a crate to go run errands and this was a big hit. She loves the crate, goes in willingly and likes to hang in there with the door open. When foster bro Sonny sticks his head in she gives him a little warning growl like "can't you knock?" She met a one-year old baby boy and two 11 year olds today and was great with them all.
