Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Some say black cats are bad luck but Nyx is one lucky girl. After being put on the euth list at the animal shelter 3 times she was rescued on the 4th. Nyx is very sweet, affectionate and loves belly rubs, when you rub her belly she puts her paws up kneading the air in ecstasy. Born in August, 2010, this petite girl likes to rub her face against yours and loves talking to you with the cutest croaking sort of meow. If you are looking for love, and affection and a small cat that doesn't meow very loud, you've found your match!
She is kind of clingy and an pure lap cat. So much so that she jumps onto her foster moms shoulders and is like a parrot meowing in her ears as she cooks, brushes her teeth and bathes her children (Nyx is a great family cat and gets along with children as young as 2).
