Thor's Story...
Hey there, I'm Thor. I'm a handsome gentleman of a pooch whose estimated birthday is February, 2011. I was found wandering around lost in Green Bay, WI, in July, 2013. My owner was able to be reached, but decided that it would be better if I found a new forever home. Happily Ever After took me in to help me find one! I'm a very mild-mannered and gentle fella, and already know basic commands! If I had my druthers, I would spend all day snuggling on a couch and getting belly rubs from my favorite people..which is pretty much anyone! I've been told that I'm a true gem and a rare find, and that anyone who decides to bring me home to live with them will be winning the dog lottery!! (Hopefully that home will be kitty-free, as I tend to find them a little too interesting, if you know what I mean!) I sure do hope you stop on by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! Visiting hours are weekdays from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm! With love, Thor

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Green Bay Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
