James's Story...
This Collie mix pup is about 10 weeks old and weighs 9-10lbs. A foster family cared for James and his litter mates. Because they were in foster care, they weren't exposed to some of what they might have been exposed to in a shelter. They are a healthy litter of pups.

He has had two rounds of vaccinations and has been dewormed.

James is ready for a loving home. He is a quiet and healthy pup and likes to be picked up!.

J and V Rescue's next adoption event is this Saturday, August 31st, at Longmont Petco, from 11am-3pm.
Longmont Petco
205 Ken Pratt Blvd
Longmont, CO 80501

There will be a sign in sheet!

Adoption fee is $250, in addition, there is a state required spay/neuter $50 deposit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James, a Westminster Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
