Polk is an adorable, playful mixed breed puppy. He was found orphaned on a farm in Tennessee, but is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. He is well behaved and has a sweet, outgoing personality. He loves people and gives great puppy kisses. He is smaller than he appears in the photos and weighs in at about 25 lbs. We think that he will be about 40 pounds max when grown. His beautiful gray coat is is short and low maintenance.

Polk will make a loving companion and loyal friend to one very lucky family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polk, a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
