Wiggles's Story...
COURTESY POSTING: Wiggles is a gorgeous young Australian Shepherd who was rescued by two caring people.
Wiggles has spent most of his life living outdoors with Joe, a Husky as his only companion. He is now ready to be part of a loving family who can give him the attention and mental stimulation he needs. Wiggles is very "happy go lucky", friendly and approachable. He loves to play and be the center of attention. He loves being petted and is not shy about nudging your hand for more. He has an alpha personality so would enjoy being the only dog, or with another passive dog. Wiggles has a lot of energy, needs lots of room to play, and would love access to a big backyard. Most of all, Wiggles craves the interaction and attention his life has been lacking for so long. If you are interested in adopting Wiggles please contact Sabine at inthenest@gmail.com or at (812) 333-2187 so she can put you in contact with the people who saved him and had him fully vetted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiggles, a Bloomington Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
