Peeta's Story...
Born on July 13th to an adorable little Maltipoo mommy and what looks like a Shih Tsu daddy, Peeta has been with us since he was born. This little fluffball is such a happy baby, outgoing, friendly, and ohhh so cuddly! Since we don't know who the daddy was, Peeta is not considered hypoallergenic. We are guessing he is going to be around 12 pounds when fully grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peeta, a La Habra Heights Cockapoo/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo/Shih Tzu for sale in La Habra Heights, or seeking a Cockapoo/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in La Habra Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Cockapoo/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
