Molly's Story...
Molly's Story

I was chained and SOAR rescued me.
They found me a great home, and it was just my daddy and me.
For three sweet years, I was his and he was mine.
We palled around all the time.
Now daddy found love and she has allergies.
So daddy got rid of me!
Now I'm back with SOAR, won't you foster me,
So I can find a new home once more?

Love,
Molly

PS: I have NO issues. I'm a 4 yr. old Black Lab Mix
I love other dogs, riding in the car, camping and hiking.
I'm spayed, micro-chipped, and house-trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Georgetown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Georgetown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Georgetown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Georgetown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Georgetown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Georgetown paves the way for another one to be saved.
