Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POSTING
Patches was running with another puppy when her pal was hit
by a car on Highland Avenue close to Community Hospital, in March
2012. Princess Patches had been attacked by other dogs (very likely
protecting her small friend), but had gotten away. Her pal was killed,
but Princess stayed by her side keeping watch over her. We rescued her
(she never barked or even attempted to bite, growl, or get away)
despite severe injuries. After spending time at the Emergency
Hospital, she was brought home to recover from her serious injuries.
The emergency hospital noted that she was sensitive to the anesthesia
they used, so caution must be used if any form of surgery or anesthesia is
required.
She loves stretching out in her children's wading pool and is so
affectionate that she will be a loyal and loving companion for the
right forever family. She is small enough to be just the right size
for even a smaller home. She would love to have a small yard where she
could play and run so that she could stretch her legs. But most of
all, she wants lots of love and kisses and a home where she can be the
center of attention.
She is current on her rabies (until 3/9/15), is spayed and is about 2.5 years old
Princess Patches is a small frame pit bull (white with black markings)
and she weighs about 40 pounds. She is a very friendly girl with
people, but is selective on which dogs she likes.
