Mckinley is a male Poodle/Bichon Frise mix only 2 years of age. He has a snowy white coat of curls that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Mckinley is a nice sturdy size, currently weighing 17 pounds. He is a bit skinny from being stray and should probably top out at 20-22 pounds. Mckinley is housetrained, and a fun loving, eager to please, bubbly young dog. He is very people oriented and will do just about anything to gain your approval. Mckinley is social and friendly - great with children and other dogs. He would make an excellent family dog because he is very tolerant and can keep up with lots of attention and activity. Mckinley adores being included and happily trots along on leash wherever you'd like to go. He is great in public and wonderful at making friends. He is a true diamond in the rough because you would never have recognized him at the shelter. He was matted beyond belief and miserable as can be. We were delighted when we had him groomed and this classy, long legged, beautiful boy emerged. His coat is so soft and huggable, you could snuggle Mckinley for hours. He has a lovely quality, dense, soft non-shedding coat of fur. Mckinley is smart and learns the ways of the household easily. He likes to play and has nice energy for trips to the dog beach, the park, or even a fun family camping trip. Mckinley has a zest for life that makes those around him smile. He's a great choice for a family pet and companion, safe and fun. Mckinley is healthy, happy, and ready for his new forever loving home today!

Mckinley’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Mckinley is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Becky and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MCKINLEY, a Newport Beach Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
