Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in adopting Sparky, please go to our website and fill out an online adoption application at www.floridayorkierescue.com
Introducing Sparky - Sparky was born December 1, 2002 and weighs 3.9 lbs. His owner died a month ago. He also had a very old Pomeranian buddy who was euthanized while his owner was in the hospital. Sparky sat in his crate day in and day out waiting for his owner to return. A neighbor visited him twice a day to let him out and feed him. After two weeks the owner died and the neighbor contacted us soon after to come pick up Sparky. We feel very sorry for him because he was a much loved pet and doesn’t know why his fur-buddy and his owner left and never came home. He is doing well in foster care. He is sweet and affectionate and still has a lot of life left to live. Won’t you give this sweet buddy a chance to find a second home?
He is neutered, vaccinated, has had a dental cleaning, micro-chipped and has had additional blood work done. He is not on any medication except for Soloxine for a minor thyroid condition. He also has some hair loss from a flea allergy which has been taken care of. So hopefully his hair will grow back soon.
