Honey's Story...
Meet Honey! Honey is around two years old and is probably the most affectionate girl I have ever met! Honey loves attention and is a huge cuddler. She loves to play with her buddy Tristan and does very well with the other dogs she has met. Honey knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash.

Honey is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative. For more information or to meet and possibly adopt Honey, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. She is currently located near Chicago, IL and would love to find a loving forever family to call her own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Chicago Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
