Dee Dee's Story...
Dee Dee is a stray. We really don't know what breed she is, but she looks like a retriever of some type but is small and only weighs 32 pounds. We are guessing her age to be around 4 years old. She is a very sweet, loving dog. Always wagging her tail at everyone she meets. She is now ready for her forever home. If interested in this little girl, please come to the shelter or call us at 740-335-6630.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dee Dee, a Washington Court House Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever for sale in Washington Court House, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington Court House.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington Court House already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington Court House breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington Court House paves the way for another one to be saved.
