My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi World,
My name is Beethoven and I’m a dream of a bichon (but I don’t play the piano
very well.) My foster Mom says I’m a loving and friendly guy of about three who loves to play with doggy friends, big humans and little humans. Dad says that I’m sociable with everyone I meet and that I’m very lovable!

I like to play, go for walks, ride in the car and give lots of doggy kisses. Although I’m kind of slim, Mom feeds me well and I like to eat so I’ll soon be at the appropriate weight for a bichon. I’m starting to learn some basic commands and I hope my new family will work with me even more. Mom says I really want to please – and Dad says I like to learn. My foster doggy brothers and sister are good teachers, too – so I’m getting better every day. And when I get treats for doing something well, I really am very proud and happy!

Both Mom and Dad say I like to walk and do very well on a leash. They walk with me everyday so I’ll learn to go potty outside. I’m working on being completely housebroken - and it won’t be long now!

Mom also says I do the cutest thing when I play with my foster brother’s stuffed toy. I jump on the toy, nip it, run away, then run back to play with it again. Why I’m really quite entertaining. Sometimes Dad will throw the toy and I’ll chase and play with it again. I just like to have fun and I make everybody laugh since I’m so happy.

When I’m not playing or walking, I like to take little naps during the day. If you are busy I’ll sit next to you very quietly and happily. At night, my foster parents let me sleep on their bed or I can sleep on one of the doggy beds. I think that’s the greatest!

If you think sound like the right companion for you and your family please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.org and ask for Beethoven. I’ll be waiting to love you unconditionally and be the bestest buddy in the world.

Your Friend,
Beethoven
