Dallas's Story...
Hello new friends, my name is Dallas, and I am a playful one-and-a-half-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix! I've been here at SCAR for more than a year, and I really hope that I find my new family soon. I am a pint sized Pittie, and I am very friendly and affectionate. I can jump very high, and when I am in my run you will see me jumping around a lot, but don't let that scare you away, I am just excited to see you! Once I'm away from the kennel I calm down because I know I am going on a walk with someone, and I love being outside and around people. Everyone tells me that I am a sweet boy. I'm neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and up to date with vaccinations. My adoption fee is $300.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a New York resident, and I'll get one free exam at our vet's office, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip. If you'd like to adopt me please call or visit...we are conveniently located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn near the D/N/R (36th Street) trains and we're open every day from 11am to 7pm. I can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Brooklyn Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
