This is a courtesy posting for another rescue. Contact information follows Louie's story.

Louie 2 year old dachshund/chihuahua mix. He weighs 20lbs.
Louie was rescued from Miami Dade Animal Services, on June 2012. He has been living at our rescue for over a year. Though, he has been quite happy, lately he is not. Living in a crate has taken a toll on him. He is very playful and energetic, not to mention adorable. So why is he still here? Why hasn't anyone adopted him? Beats the heck outta us. Please, consider Louie. He deserves a home. Lately, all he does is sit in a chair and watch the other pups play. He use to greet potential adopters that visit. Now, he just looks at them and doesn't approach them. Almost as if he knew, deep inside, that they were not there for him. Our hearts are breaking for Louie!
Can you give Louie that "forever home" which he has been waiting, so long, for.
