R.W. Grape's Story...
Wow, we’re already falling in love with new shelter pooch R.W. Grape. This happy boy is lovely. He relishes human attention and appears to have a friendly interest in other dogs. He recently went for a walk with his new doggie friend Cali and he was a true gentleman. Did we mention that he’s a lovely silvery grey with adorable wrinkles on his forehead? Simply scrumptious! Grape will take a treat gently from your hand and walks well on a halter. He’ll gaze back at you with his soft eyes, ever attentive to his handler. Who will be the lucky adopter to take this dear boy home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

R.W. Grape, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
