Gretchen (Guest)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gretchen (Guest)'s Story...
Gretchen is a sable female GSD, about 7 months old. She was taken in by a kind person who will keep her until a new home is found.

Gretchen is a typical silly puppy according to her caregiver. She loves to carry around her stuffed toys. She gets along well with dogs but is a little rough with smaller dogs. A dog that is the same size and age would be the best playmate for her. Gretchen is friendly with people but is sometimes initially hesitant meeting people. She has not lived with kids, but has been friendly to the ones she has met in public settings. She will try to chase cats.

Gretchen is healthy and up to date on shots and Heartworm preventive. She has been spayed. She's housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Because she is young and needs structure, a home with GSD or large dog experience is preferred.

If you want to meet Gretchen, please contact susanlance@mindspring.com. GSDRGA has not met Gretchen, so all inquiries should be directed to her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen (Guest), a Roswell German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
