Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pickles was rescued by a good Samaritan when it was discovered that she was destined for the shelter. Unfortunately, Pickles is heartworm positive and the treatment is beyond the means of her would-be savior, and we were asked to take over her care. Pickles desperately needs a foster home where she will be lovingly cared for while she recovers from her treatment. She needs to be kept fairly quiet; no rough and tumble beagle chasing and wrestling.
That said, Pickles adores children and does very well with other dogs She's lived with a boxer. She's made great strides with house training. What she really needs is a forever home where she will be treated like the treasure that she is, but in the meantime, she would really love a caring foster home. If you can foster Pickles, please contact icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org.
