Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Is that a cute smile or what?
Boz is an adorable border collie / lab mix approximately one year old. He is initially very shy, but warms up to people once he's sure of the situation. His time in a local county shelter made him a bit leary of new people and surroundings. But the shy disappears with some soft spoken words, a few ear scratches and maybe a treat or two. Boz just needs a home of his own where he can build his confidence.
Boz is good with other dogs and loves to play. We do not know how he is with cats. I would suggest he be placed in a home with children over 8 years old. He is still very puppy-like and will need leash training, obedience training and overall guidance to be a great pup.
Boz is microchipped, altered, fully vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworm, tick and lyme disease. He weighs approximately 30 lbs at this time . While he is on the small side, we imagine him weighing approximately 35-40 lbs at full adulthood. Boz is a healthy, happy pup looking for a home of his own. Are you that home? Boz's adoption fee is $155 which helps us cover the costs of his vet care and to assist more dogs like Boz.
