Too Cool Toby in Renton's Story...
Introducing Toby, seriously the cutest and most well-adjusted pug mix ever! This small (only 8 lbs!) cutie has fit into his foster home in Renton with multiple dogs, cats and humans, very well. Toby was rescued from one of the many high kill shelters in S. California, where he was hours away from being just another statistic. Now his life consists of playing respectfully and happily with all: cats, dogs and kids. But he won’t truly have a real ‘life’ until he gets his own home! Totally cool Toby is the perfect mix of loveable lap dog and “let's get out and go” social boy. He loves his daily walks where he meets and greets his doggie and people friends with ease and prances right beside you. He is good on the leash and can keep up with you for a good long walk. Toby is not a wimpy little dog! He is inquisitive and curious and happy. Toby will be a treat to take to the dog park as gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children and he is everyone’s best friend! He would love a yard to roll around and play tugo war and ball…but will be happy without a yard if you take long walks and visits to the park. Toby is crate trained and house trained, although he could use some help with his sit and stay command (who’s perfect!). Toby is eager to please and will listen to you, so working on these will be good bonding for you, his new adopter. Plus , we think he’d love to learn some tricks too. While not a big barker, Toby will “sound a short alarm” with people at the door or coming up the walk. While he is crate-trained, he is perfectly fine left alone in the house as he is past the chew-stage and he is fine to just chill with cats and dogs. Toby is simply, as his foster mom puts it: “cute and sweet, incredibly loving and a snuggler, with a little bit of zest in his perfect personality. He just wants to be loved and hang out with you, his dream job!” Toby is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and in foster care in the Renton area.
