Scarlet's Story...
Scarlet is a seal point Siamese mix kitten that was found in a garage in Midland, NC by the Barnes family. She apparently belonged to a stray mother cat and was only 6 weeks old when she was found on August 8th. She is a sweet kitten that loves to play….She has beautiful blue eyes and except for one front paw, is a perfectly marked Seal Point. She has a good appetite and immediately took to the litterbox. Today she weighs 2 lbs and 3 ounces (8/28/13) .

She will be ready for adoption on Labor Day, 9/2/13. She has been combo blood tested for Feline Leukemia (negative) and FIV (negative), wormed, bathed, treated for fleas, and has received her first distemper vaccination.

We offer a low cost neuter/vaccine package with adoptions. We are looking for an inside only home for Scarlet. To see this sweet little female kitten, please call us for an appointment. Call Reid or Dianne at 704-793-6545 or 704-786-7768. Thank you for considering giving a home to a rescued kitten!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Harrisburg Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
