Hershey's Story...
Hershey is a 7 lb, 1 yr old, very sweet and lovable little guy. He gets along fine with all the other dogs and cat in his foster home. Hershey is doing well with house training and is already crate trained. Hershey needs to have a home with a fenced in yard to keep him safe. Hershey will do better in a home with another small dog for him to play with. Go to our website to fill out an application to adopt Hershey http://www.atailtotell.com/adoptafriend.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Mt Gretna Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Mt Gretna, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Mt Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
