About Reunion Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We save Bay Area pit bulls who have been scheduled for euthanasia by San Francisco Animal Care and Control and the San Francisco SPCA for no reason. These are wonderful adoptable family pets who do not deserve to die just because they are part pit bull. We have saved over 200 dogs who were scheduled to die by these two organizations and they are all living in great homes as wonderful canine good citizens.

Our Adoption Process...

We use a foster to adopt process with all of our dogs while the dog and adopter complete obedience training with Bob Gutierrez of A Better Way Dog Training. We provide a crate, a good dog food, treats, toys and a free drop in dog class before the pet goes home with the new adopter for an overnight visit. All of our dogs live as INDOOR pets, are crated when their guardian is not home to supervise and must be fed a good nutritious food that does not contain the words "by products" or "ethoxyquine". We are adamant about nutrition and positive gentle training. We ask for a $150 dollar donation upon the official adoption in which we sign a contract maintaining these stipulations and that the dog be given back to Reunion Rescue should he/she be relinquished.
