**Be sure to watch Maya's adorable video on this page!** Maya is a 1.5 yr old purebred GORGEOUS German Shepherd who is very sweet and loves to play; she defintely brings laughter to those that meet her. She is on the smaller side for a German Shepherd, full grown she will not likely be more than 45-50 lbs. Maya's foster family adores her and says that she is just the right amount of cuddly and just the right amount of silly! Maya gets along great with other dogs and loves to play so she would make an excellent 2nd dog for a family. She has had basic obedience training is very eager to please. Maya is healthy, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and ready for her forever family! The very important thing to know about Maya is that she is extremely shy meeting new people, and really requires a patient mellow family that will understand her shyness and work with her as it will all pay off after she bonds with you. She needs to go to a home with kids older than 12 as too much activity makes her nervous at times.
