Lola's Story...
Lola came to us from a kind neighborhood lady that has rescued more than one cat for Fabulous Felines NWA. When she was found it was discovered she was expecting kittens. A month later Lola became a momma. She gave birth to 5 healthy kittens. While she was found outdoors; she has adapted very well to being indoors. She is ok with having other cats around. She is a great companion cat. When you are sitting in one room, reading your book, she wants to be with you. She loves her chin to be rubbed. Lola is a little less than 1 year old. She is somewhat playful. However, you need to bribe her with catnip in order to get her to play around a bit. She really loves that nip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
