Alpine's Story...
I am a shy, 6-month-old, little girl. I was found on the street when I was a little kitten. The young woman that found me could not keep me at her place, so she put me with her boyfriend who lived in a rooming house. Unfortunately, the boyfriend did not like cats. After months of my being scared and ignored (probably abused), the young woman called the people here to help me. I am now in a foster home where a nice person is helping me to trust people. It is going slowly, however it is going. I hope that I can find a loving person who can give me a home where I can thrive. I am sweet and come across as gentle, but I am so very scared. Please, is there someone out there with a big heart that can give me a home and the time I need to learn to love them back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alpine, a Medford Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
