AJAX's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

AJAX's Story...
I rarely will list a dog that is a Pit Bull or a Pit Bull mix, but there is just something different about AJAX. Ajax was surrendered by a family that could no longer care for him. They loved him and it broke their hearts---especially the children---to have to give him up. The husband has been laid off work and with the loss of income, the family could no longer take care of Ajax. He has been loved and cared for since a puppy and he has been the endearing family pet. So we are looking for just the right home to take our guy Ajax.
Ajax is 8 - 12 months old and weighs approx 40 lbs. He has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines. He is testing heart worm negative and is on all monthly preventatives. Ajax is a very social dog and enjoys being around people. He is good with other dogs primarily female dogs. He only barks to get your attention and he loves to be petted and loved. He is good on a leash. He was house broken and does well staying in the crate. He is a very special guy and we are hoping for just the right home for him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AJAX, a Glastonbury Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
