McCartney (Mac)'s Story...
Hello my Name is McCartney but you can call me Mac. I'm just a little guy with a big personality. I escaped a high kill shelter along with my brother Stevie. We are looking for forever homes but don't have to get adopted together, although that might be really nice. Twice the fun ya know I'm about a year old, love to play and cuddle and get along well with everyone. Just a sweet lil dog looking for love. Thank you for your interest in one of our pup. All of our dogs have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, had rabies, bordatella and distemper/lepto/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and had flea medication applied. They come with a free vet check at Mt. Tabor Vet Care. We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We don't adopt our small dogs out to families with children under 6 years of age. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application and check references. Pound to Posh is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McCartney (Mac), a Portland Westie, West Highland White Terrier/Norwich Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Westie, West Highland White Terrier/Norwich Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Westie, West Highland White Terrier/Norwich Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Westie, West Highland White Terrier/Norwich Terrier breeders who help with Westie, West Highland White Terrier/Norwich Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
